Meet Chase

Chase Billotte, DPT, F-AIHM
Founder of FluidiQi Integrative Movement

FluidiQi was created from a simple realization:
Many complex movement problems are not isolated problems. They are patterns.

After years practicing within traditional physical therapy systems, Chase began noticing something consistent.

People were doing the right things.
And yet, many still felt incomplete in their recovery.

Pain improved, but movement didn’t feel natural.
Strength returned, but confidence didn’t.
Rehab ended, but compensation remained.

The issue wasn’t effort. It was fragmentation.

Care was often divided into parts: orthopedic, neurological, pelvic, structural. But the body never functions in parts.

FluidiQi was built to create space for people who need more time, more integration, and more collaboration than conventional models allow.

The Philosophy Behind FluidiQi

Life does not function in isolation.

Movement emerges from interaction. Between fascia, interstitial fluids, muscle, bones, nerves, blood vessels, lymphatics, skin, breath, cognition and emotion, structure and environment.

When injury, surgery, stress, trauma, or chronic inflammation alter that interaction, the body adapts. Over time, adaptation may become compensation. Compensation may become limitation.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • FluidiQi is grounded in Doctor of Physical Therapy training and clinical rehabilitation principles. However, it extends beyond traditional models by integrating manual therapy, structural integration concepts, pelvic health, neurological rehabilitation, and integrative medicine principles within extended one-on-one sessions.

This is not a protocol-driven or volume-based model. Care is individualized and systems-based.

  • FluidiQi does not isolate systems.

Care integrates structural organization, nervous system regulation, breath mechanics, behavior, and environment within a collaborative model.

Many individuals arrive after pursuing multiple forms of care without full resolution. The difference lies in integration, individualized depth, and participatory rehabilitation.

  • The most successful outcomes occur when individuals are:
    • Motivated to participate in their healing
    • Open to mind-body integration
    • Willing to explore new movement patterns
    • Ready to build sustainable habits

FluidiQi may not be appropriate for individuals seeking passive or quick-fix solutions.

  • FluidiQi works with individuals experiencing:
    • Chronic pain
    • Post-surgical limitations
    • Scar tissue restrictions
    • Neurological impairments and stroke recovery
    • Pelvic floor dysfunction
    • Balance and gait impairments
    • Cranial or facial asymmetries
    • Athletic injuries and performance limitations

If you are unsure whether your condition is appropriate for this approach, schedule a consultation.

  • Private sessions are a minimum of 60 minutes.

This duration allows adequate time for assessment, manual integration, movement re-education, and discussion without rushing the process.

  • Care plans are individualized.

Some individuals notice meaningful change within the first session. Others with complex or long-standing conditions may require ongoing collaboration to restore adaptability and coordination.

The goal is not dependency, but increased agency and self-sufficiency.

  • The first session includes:
    • A comprehensive systems-based assessment
    • Discussion of medical and movement history
    • Evaluation of structural alignment and compensation patterns
    • Manual therapy and/or movement integration as appropriate
    • Collaborative plan development

Most individuals experience noticeable changes during the first visit.

  • Within FluidiQi, Qi can be understood as the body’s mechanical energy to generate and distribute force via its drive, coordination, and breath.

The work does not rely on mystical concepts, but rather on observable relationships between structure, nervous system regulation, and movement efficiency.

  • Yes. We work with all ages, from newborns to seniors.

Pediatric services may include cranial manual therapy and movement integration where appropriate.

  • FluidiQi operates as a private-pay integrative physical therapy practice.

    This allows for:
    • Extended one-on-one time
    • Greater depth of assessment
    • Integration across systems
    • Collaborative care without insurance constraints

If needed, a superbill may be provided for potential out-of-network reimbursement. Please check with your insurance provider regarding eligibility.

  • A referral is not typically required for private-pay services. However, if you are currently under the care of another provider, collaborative communication may be encouraged.

  • Yes. Integrative manual therapy and movement re-education may support scar mobility, structural efficiency, and restoration of range of motion following surgery.

Always consult with your surgeon or primary provider regarding post-operative clearance.
