Meet Chase
Chase Billotte, DPT, F-AIHM
Founder of FluidiQi Integrative Movement
FluidiQi was created from a simple realization: Many complex movement problems are not isolated problems. They are patterns.
After years practicing within traditional physical therapy systems, Chase began noticing something consistent. People were doing the right things, and yet, many still felt incomplete in their recovery.
Pain improved, but movement didn’t feel natural. Strength returned, but confidence didn’t. Rehab ended, but compensation remained.
The issue wasn’t effort. It was fragmentation. Care was often divided into parts: orthopedic, neurological, pelvic, structural. But the body never functions in parts.
FluidiQi was built to create space for people who need more time, more integration, and more collaboration than conventional models allow.
The Philosophy Behind FluidiQi
Life does not function in isolation.
Movement emerges from interaction. Between fascia, interstitial fluids, muscle, bones, nerves, blood vessels, lymphatics, skin, breath, cognition and emotion, structure and environment.
When injury, surgery, stress, trauma, or chronic inflammation alter that interaction, the body adapts. Over time, adaptation may become compensation. Compensation creates inefficient mechanics which become limitations.
The Path to Integration
A timeline of professional evolution, global service, and clinical mastery.
Foundations & Global Service
After graduating from Omaha Central High School (2002), Chase earned a BA in Environmental Education from Redlands University. This early focus on natural systems led him to Nicaragua, where he served for two years in the Peace Corps, laying the groundwork for his interest in community health and vitality.
Doctorate & Movement Science
Chase earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from Emory University, a top-tier program for movement science. He further specialized by becoming a Polestar Pilates Certified practitioner and began dedicating his time to pediatric care at the Hospital Infantiles de las Californias via “Jornada.”
Integrative Clinical Leadership
While serving as a Physical Therapist for over 10 years at Family Health Centers of San Diego (FHCSD), Chase helped pioneer their Pelvic Floor program. He completed a prestigious Fellowship in Integrative Medicine (AIHM) to bridge the gap between traditional orthopedic care and holistic, systems-based healing.
Advanced Global Mastery
Chase became the first certified ZOGA Movement Therapist in the United States, later traveling to Ukraine to assist in advanced Bone and ScarWork training with Sharon Wheeler. He was also part of the first cohort for the Mental Health for PT Certification from the Integrative Pain Science Institute, focusing on the intersection of chronic pain and emotional regulation.
The Birth of FluidiQi
Currently a Polestar Pilates Mentor based in San Diego, Chase founded FluidiQi Integrative Movement. His mission is to align manual therapy with movement interventions, helping clients move in harmony with their body’s innate intelligence, habits, and emotional state.
The Four Pillars
A holistic architecture for sustainable movement.
Structure
Restoring the physical architectural balance of the body through manual intervention and alignment.
Fluidity
Addressing interstitial and vascular fluid and lymphatic flow to nourish tissues and improve the "glide" between systems.
Regulation
Calming the nervous system to shift the body from a state of "guarding" to a state of receptive healing.
Integration
Training the brain and body to move as a unified whole, rather than a collection of isolated parts.
Collaborative Foundations
FluidiQi is built with over a decade of training with world-leading organizations in movement science and integrative health.
A Note From Chase
"I believe that healing isn’t about fixing what is broken, but about reorganizing what is already there. For years, I watched patients follow every protocol and still feel like their recovery was 'fragmented'—as if their hip was separate from their shoulder, or their vision and balance separate from their breath.
Pain is rarely just a localized tissue issue; it is a complex, intertwined response shaped by our nervous system, our behavioral history, and our psychosocial environment. When we feel stuck, it's often because our body is seeking guidance to navigate these layers.
FluidiQi was born from a desire to stop treating parts and start treating the whole. My goal is to guide you in reorganizing these patterns, helping you find the path of least resistance so you can move with the intelligence and fluidity you were born with."
